President Obama Opens Doors for Hospital Visitation for LGBT Partners
On April 16, 2010
Today, President Barack Obama issued a memorandum to the Secretary of Health and Human Services directing that their department ensure that hospitals participating in Medicaid or Medicare allow patients to designate who may visit them as well as name their primary caretaker and decision maker.
