Election Timeline

April  21 – Filing form and election description posted on website – http://lgbtvadem.org/.

May 15 – Filing form due by 5 pm and must be received by then. Close of filing period.

May 25 – Deadline for candidates to send Joel campaign materials for his distribution.  Please send information to jmcdonald@vbprogressives.com.

June 1 – Ballots will be put on the caucus website – http://lgbtvadem.org/ and emailed to members in good standing. Members are responsible for printing off the ballot before completing as instructed in the election description.

June 15 – Balloting closed. All ballots must have been received in the mail or hand delivered by 5 pm to Abbie Easter at 2611 Cherrytree Lane, Richmond, VA 23235-2925.

June 20 – Counting of ballots (open to observers)

June 21 – Election results will be posted at http://lgbtvadem.org/ and e-mailed to all members.  New board members assume office for 2 year term.
