Election of Officers Timeline

April 2, 2012 – Deadline for membership for those participating in the election.

May 1, 2012 – Filing form and election description posted on website – www.lgbtvadem.org.

May 15, 2012 – Filing form due by 5 pm and must be received by then. All members of nominating committee will receive filed information via email.

June 1, 2012 – Ballots will be put on the caucus website – www.lgbtvadem.org and emailed to members in good standing. Members are responsible for printing off the ballot before completing as instructed in the election description.

June 15, 2012 – Balloting closed. All ballots must have been received in the mail or hand delivered by 5 pm to Abbie Easter at 2611 Cherrytree Lane, North Chesterfield, VA 23235-2925.

June 16, 2012 – Counting of ballots (open to observers). Location TBA.

June 17, 2012– Election results will be posted at www.lgbtvadem.org and e-mailed to all members.  New board members assume office for 2 year term.
