The Executive Board of the LGBT Caucus of the Democratic Party of Virginia is composed of elected officers to board, and the Chair Emeritus of the caucus. The board governs the affairs of the Caucus and has the authority to make policy for the caucus and to oversee managerial matters.

Brian Boyce is a founding member of the caucus and has been a strong activist voice for gay rights since serving on the original board of Gay Pride of Virginia in the early 90′s. Brian is an Air Force veteran who served on active duty during Desert Storm. Brian also serves as Richmond Chair of Virginia Partisans and serves of the Central Committee of the Democratic Party of Virginia, representing the 3rd District.

Don Daveport is the Fund Raising Vice Chair of the Caroline County Democratic Committee and has been intergral to the success of the CCDC fundraising success and noteriety within the Democratic Party of Virginia. He is the owner of a commecial construction business, a community organizer, long-time Democratic activist, and is a member of Equality Virginia, the ACLU, and YDA.

Joel McDonald is an IT and Political Consultant working with small businesses, organizations, and Democratic campaigns. Joel currently serves as the Precinct & Elections Director of the Virginia Beach Democratic Committee and Acting Communication Director of Hampton Roads Young Democrats. He is also a Political Science student at Old Dominion University.

Skip Kilpatrick was born and raised in Virginia, and has worked in the financial services industry for the past twn years. Skip is a recent addition to Democratic Party politics and looks forward to building a coalition that will advance the issues important to LGBT people and allies.

Charles “Chuck” Unger is on the Board of the Caroline County Democratic Committee, where he serves as Treasurer. Chuck is a pillar of the Committee, which received the 2010 Committee of the Year Award for small committees. He also serves his local committee on the Platform and Strategic Planning Committee, the Fund Raising Committee, the Campaign Sign Committee, and as an avid grassroots activist and campaign volunteer. In his day job, Chuck co-owns a construction company. He is also a member of Equality Virginia and the ACLU, and serves a a valuable community organizer in his neighborhood.

Maggie Sacra is a founding member of the LGBT Caucus and is a Certified Public Accountant. She serves as the Chairperson of the Caroline County Democratic Committee and on the Central Committee of the Democratic Party of Virginia, representing the 1st District. She also serves on the DPVA Strtegic planning Committee, and is the Treasurer and GSA liaison for the Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network Richmond Chapter. She has previously serves as the treasurer of the Virginia Chapter of the National Organization for Women and also served as their PAC Treasurer.

Terry L Mansberger is a founding member of the LGBT Caucus and former president of the Virginia Partisans Gay and Lesbian Club. Terry is employed by AT&T and lives with his long-time partner Charlie and three dogs in Annandale, VA where they enjoy visiting farmers markets, ethnic restaurants and the never ending search for the perfect crab cake.
