Video: Gubernatorial Candidates Virtual Town Hall

LGBT Democrats of Virginia joined with the Spotsylvania, Fauquier, Orange, Culpeper, Madison, Louisa, and Rappahannock Democratic Committees and the Lake of the Woods Democratic Club to host a series of virtual town halls for candidates running in the Gubernatorial, Lieutenant Governor, and Attorney General Democratic primaries.

Amy Laufer moderates the town hall for candidates running in the 2021 gubernatorial Democratic primary. Candidates participating included Delegate Lee Carter, former Delegate Jennifer Carroll Foy, and former Governor Terry McAuliffe.

Due to Virginia Senate business, Senator Jennifer McClellan could not join us for the scheduled town hall but did participate later. Her answers to the town hall questions are below.

The final day of voting in the 2021 Virginia Democratic Primary is June 8, 2021. Early voting through absentee ballots is currently underway. For information on voting, please visit vademocrats.org.
