Delegate Bonita G. Anthony represents parts of Norfolk and Northern Chesapeake in Virginia’s House District 92. Born and raised in Norfolk with deep Chesapeake roots, she holds engineering degrees from Old Dominion University and a Master of Divinity from the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University. She brings this background and her commitment to community leadership to champion meaningful, transformative change across the Commonwealth.

She has advanced legislation on housing equity, environmental justice, election integrity, public safety, food access, and digital protections. Her landmark CODI Alert law protects vulnerable children and strengthens community safety.

She serves on the Finance, Privileges and Elections, and Transportation Committees and chairs the Joint Commission on Technology and Science Subcommittee for Online and Data Protections. She also holds additional appointments, including the Hampton Roads Transportation Planning Organization Board and the Commission to End Hunger.
