Video: 2015 LGBT Democrats of Virginia Equality Breakfast

Due to technical difficulties from the day of the event out to the day we’re finally getting this video posted, the release of this video from our 2015 Equality Breakfast has been very delayed. We also were not able to capture the entire event due to power issues. For that, I apologize.

I did enjoy watching this again thinking about how much has changed since December of 2015. Republicans have gone on the offensive against Governor McAuliffe’s restoration of voting rights to those who paid their debt to the public for past crimes. Lionell Spruill won the democratic primary and will be moving to the Virginia Senate. Levar Stoney is now running for Mayor of Richmond. Donald McEachin is running for congress in Virginia’s 4th district.

What hasn’t changed is everyone’s deep commitment to equality and fairness for all. We keep pushing forward along the “arc of the moral universe.”
