2025 Endorsed Candidate

Amy Laufer
Virginia House of Delegates
55th District
Amy Laufer currently serves in the Virginia House of Delegates, representing the 55th District since January 2024. She is a member of the House Finance Committee, the Education Committee, and the Committee on Agriculture, Chesapeake, and Natural Resources. She also serves as Chair of the Disability Commission and holds appointments to several other boards and commissions, including the House Select Committee on Rural Health Care, the State Water Commission, and the Special Task Force on Free Speech.
Before her election to the House of Delegates, Laufer served on the Charlottesville City School Board from 2011 to 2019, including a term as Chair from 2015 to 2016. One of her most notable accomplishments during that time was enacting the Equality Virginia non-discrimination policy in 2015—making Charlottesville one of only two school divisions in the state to adopt such a policy at the time.
