I was raised in a Navy family, taught for 38 years in the public schools, former volleyball and swim coach, and proud mother of 3. I have been a hard worker all of my life and helping people has been my daily motivation. I thought retirement would be full of relaxing days in my garden, making pottery, and rescuing dogs, but when I heard Barry Knight was going to run unopposed again, I realized that this was one challenge I just could not turn away from.
