Destiny LeVere Bolling

Born and raised in a small town on the Northern Neck of Virginia, Destiny knows what it’s like to grow up in a community where too many people feel overlooked—and where those in leadership didn’t look like her. That experience instilled in her a deep passion for service and a lifelong commitment to fighting for change. Ever since, Destiny has dedicated herself to improving the lives of her neighbors and the people of the Commonwealth.
Now, as the Democratic Delegate representing Virginia’s House District 80 in Henrico County, Destiny continues to fight for working families, equity, and opportunity for all Virginians.
Whether as an educator serving students in underserved communities, volunteering at her local church, or as Communications Director of the Virginia AFL-CIO, Destiny has seen firsthand the challenges working families face every day. She serves more than 330,000 union members and their families across the Commonwealth—advocating for fair wages, safe workplaces, and stronger worker protections.
She is a proud graduate of the University of Richmond, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Affairs, and holds a Master of Arts in International Affairs from George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs.
Destiny and her husband, Chris, live in Henrico, VA, where they manage three family-owned small businesses. In early February, they welcomed their firstborn daughter, LiAuna, bringing even greater purpose to Destiny’s fight for a better future for all families in Virginia.
