April Chandler
April Chandler is a mom, teacher, engaged community member, and advocate for public education. April Chandler has dedicated herself to supporting the students of Loudoun County, their teachers, and the local community throughout her 16 years living in Algonkian District. April brings a multi-faceted view of our educational system to her campaign as she has served in multiple leadership positions for Algonkian District-based Parent-Teacher Associations, worked as a substitute teacher in a variety of Sterling elementary and middle schools for several years, and serves as the staff aide to the current School Board Member. April invests her time in the causes she believes in, and for over the past decade, she has volunteered for various local and national civic organizations, including the Loudoun County Democratic Committee, Moms Demand Action, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, Together We Will Loudoun, and Equality Loudoun. She is the LCDC endorsed candidate, is endorsed by Everytown for Gun Safety, and has received the Moms Demand Action Gun Sense Candidate Designation.
