Lachrecse Aird

A tireless and trusted community leader, Lashrecse Aird is actively engaged in numerous civic boards and organizations. Previously, she was the most recent chair of the Fourth Congressional District Committee for the Democratic Party of Virginia. In addition, she is the Virginia State Social Action Coordinator for Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She serves on the boards for the Sorensen Political Leadership Institute, Sports Backers, Chippenham Johnston-Willis Hospital and the Virginia League of Planned Parenthood. She is also a member of the Petersburg Lunch Rotary and the Responsible Leaders Network for the BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt.

Lashrecse Aird has been recognized with numerous awards and honors; including the University of Virginia’s Emerging Leader Award and is the recipient of Virginia State University’s Presidential Medallion.

Professionally, Lashrecse serves as Chief of Staff to the President at Richard Bland College of William & Mary.

Lashrecse resides in Petersburg with her husband Blaine Aird and her two young boys, Blaine and Blake.
