Laura Lee Thompson

I worked on the Clean Energy Campaign and interned for a VA state Senator who was on the Agriculture, Conservation, and Natural Resources Committee. I have a Virginia fishing license, am a member of the Chesterfield Farm Bureau, and I garden. When I was previously elected as a School Board member in Virginia I worked hard promoting a healthy future to our children. I plan to promote environmental issues and conservation within K-12. I have a Juris Doctorate from Washington and Lee University. My Brother works at DEQ as a water resources engineer, my sister has a permaculture license, my uncle is a Farmer and was elected to Soil and Water, and my family has been members of the Farm Bureau for four generations. I am a member of the VA Board for Hearing Aid Specialists and Optician, I was appointed under the Governor McAullife Administration.
