Equality Virginia’s 8th Annual Commonwealth Dinner
Year in, and year out, Equality Virginia works to seek equality for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered Virginians. As the largest statewide organization working for LGBT equality, Equality Virginia focuses on important legislation for the LGBT community, organizes lobbying efforts which include Virginians from around the commonwealth, and are an important voice in the fight for equality in Virginia. You can learn more about Equality Virginia at their website, www.equalityvirginia.org. We consider them a partner in our efforts to move Virginia forward on LGBT issues.
Equality Virginia will be holding their 8th Annual Commonwealth Dinner on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the Downtown Richmond Marriott. The LGBT Democrats of Virginia is a Table Host for this event. If you’ve been to one of EV’s dinners in the past, you know what a fun, inspiring, and empowering event it is, and we’re sure this year will also be great. As a Table Host, we have committed to filling the 10 seats at our table, and would love to have you join us at this dinner, which is the largest single event to raise funds to support Equality Virginia’s work.
Tickets to the Commonwealth Dinner go quickly, so please let me know as soon as possible if you’ll be able to join us. Tickets are currently $115 per person for a general ticket and $230 for a VIP ticket.Prices will go up on March 1. A portion of the ticket price is tax-deductible. You can purchase them by clicking here or by calling EV’s office at 804.643.4816.
